Description
This canyon is one of the wildest things I have ever hiked around. There are number of huge waterfalls, and two large volcanoes at the top of the hike. Of course it is also an entrance into the wild interior as well. The weather is definitely Icelandic as well 
The strange thing was that all the way ...up I was hiking pretty much alone in rainy/sunny conditions, but once I was on my way back I have met well over 100 locals just going for "night" hike just for the fun of it. Well they have a nice tradition for sure, and since they invited me to join and shared their local food and drinks as well, I would rated that night as the best experience from Iceland.
