Morning forest by tomaskaspar Morning forest by tomaskaspar
Hi all,

This is one of my favorite places in my backyard. I bike thru here quite often. This mornig the fog gave it a little extra touch. Please enjoy.

You would be surprised. That is the beauty of landscape photography. You have to wait for the right conditions that will change even the ordinary forest into something great. Thank you for your comment.

Sometimes I do, sometimes things just fall in place the first time I visit the place. Nevertheless you always have to get there, scout, imagine the light, imagine the possibilities and the compositions, and then maybe the light will come, and that is so beautiful (and frustrating) about landscape photography.

I wonder what kind of GND you used here and why... Not really a scene for GNDs and it doesn't look like a GND was used.

I have used reverse GND since this is actually absolutely perfect scene to use these. It is a 2 stop reverse GND. ANd to answer why? The light on the horizon is way to strong and I wanted to avoid burning out the detail in the trees.
